Description

Raka is situated in the Klein Valley. It is further east than Hermanus and is not so well known for wine. However the werm valley is cooled by breezes off Walker Bay. Spliced is a blend of Shiraz, Merlot, Cabernet Franc Malbec, Mourvedre and Viognier. With rich berry aromas and ripe red fruit, prunes and hints of oak and spices on the nose.The palate reflects the fruity flavours of ripe cherries with a spicy, smoky undertone. Wonderful balance between fruit and wood with a juicy finish.
