Description

Raka is situated in the Klein Valley. It is further east than Hermanus and is not so well known for wine. However the warm valley is cooled by breezes off Walker Bay. This Cape blend (15% Pinotage) reveals raspberries and blackcurrant on the nose with a hint of spicy eucalyptus and caramelized banana from the Pinotage. Herbaceous black olives leads to a complex palate with ripe tannins and warm spice. Pinotage, Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc & Merlot. Klein River , South Africa
