Neethlingshof is perhaps the oldest wine estate in Stellenbosch. Grapes have been grown on Neethlingshof for more than 300 years or within 50 years of the Dutch East-India Company establishing a victualing station at the Cape to supply its passing ships.
Dark ruby. Floral and violet fragrances interwoven with oak, spice and dark chocolate. Rich and full with plum and berry flavours, supported by soft tannins. The wine is ready to drink now but will mature for a further 5 years.
A delicious all-rounder that will partner both red and white meat dishes such as garlic and rosemary roast chicken and Beef Wellington, as well as pasta and soft cheeses. 14% South Africa, Stellenbosch
